We welcome volunteers to join us at The Wood School as an experience that we hope will be beneficial to all involved: the volunteers, the staff team, and especially the children who attend the wood.
During your time volunteering with us you would get opportunities to see how The Wood School runs its days, meet some of the team, be immersed in the woodland for whole days at a time, and provide a variety of small activities for the children to engage with.
To ensure that the experience is mutually beneficial and also, importantly, to limit the amount of disruption to the children’s experiences we usually ask for a commitment of one day per week for at least a half-term but no more than a full term.
